Owens River Fishing Map and Fishing Report and Mono Clubs, and Ranches
The Upper Owens River fishing has been fair and improving. River is dropping a little but snow melt is still happening. Middle of the day to late after noon wet flys are best. Try the area from conflence down, north off bridge to access off Benton Crossing road after the bridge.
Streamers are traditionally the best for the Upper Owens River. But for now, especially later in the day, go to the surface with dry Baetis or Caddis. Use an indicator for most productive results, tippets use a 4X. Small spinners will work for spin casters.
